Expo East Recap #1
We came. We saw. We played a lot of skeeball.
You say “trade show.” We say “Coney Island.”
The other week, we packed up LDO HQ and headed to Expo East, a natural and organic trade show, in Baltimore. With 1,000 light bulbs, 30 pieces of inflatable fruit and lots and lots of Tiny Fruits in tow, skeeball and a bright Little Duck sign were in our near future.
There was more than just skeeball this year at Expo. There were so many {delicious} noms to be had… We:
:: stocked up on popcorn from BFFs Quinn Popcorn
:: ate too much chocolate from Nibmore
:: soothed sore throats with tea from Runa
:: scratched our knuckles digging into jars of Wild Squirrel Nut Butter
:: spilled salsa from La Esquinaon our shoes (no, really.)
:: got our “Yoga in a Bottle” on with Tumeric Alive
:: got gluten-free giddy with {way too} many munchies from Purely Elizabeth
:: and, posed with our spirit animal, the unicorn, in photos with FDA Imports.
Since we know you’re wondering…our beautiful, light-up sign, built by Zak & Vince, now hangs on our office wall. It’s so hot (pun intended!) that we’ve decided to use it as a source of heat this winter.
